No statistically significant differences were noted in the VAS scores between the Group S（＋） and the Group S（－） before, at 1 hour or 1 week after lumbar selective nerve root block（SNRB）, but statistically significant differences were noted in the VAS scores between the Group S（＋） and the Group S（－） at 1 day after SNRB（^♯1）.
