Visual analog scale (VAS) score in all patients

• S (+) : Time course of the VAS score in the Group S (+)
• S (-) : Time course of the VAS score in the Group S (-)

No statistically significant differences were noted in the VAS scores between the Group S (+) and the Group S (-) before or at 1 hour or 1 week after lumbar selective nerve root block (SNRB). However, the VAS scores were significantly lower at 1 hour and 1 week after SNRB than before SNRB in both the GroupS (+) and the Group S (-) (*1 and *2; *3 and *4).
