The Chiba Medical Journal is issued by the Chiba Medical Society based at Chiba University, and is an open-access peer-reviewed academic journal for basic and clinical biomedical research.
The Society was established in 1922 with the aim to widely contribute to the advancement of medicine, centering on Chiba University Graduate School of Medicine, providing scientific meetings, and publishing journals Chiba Igaku and the Chiba Medical Journal. In face with accelerated specialization and sophistication of medical science, the Chiba Medical Society will continue to contribute widely to advancement of medicine.
