Semi-quantitative demonstration of the decrease in type III collagen secretion. Samples of a normal subject (N2) were serially diluted to 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, and 1/16, followed by Western blotting with an undiluted sample of case 2. Type III collagen levels in the C2 sample were compatible to the 1/8 or 1/16 diluted N2 sample.
